Our services are incorporated to be structured while allowing rehabilitation and less emotional stress to our clients for the entire program. We will offer in house services along with a self reliance program for an allotted amount of time once our clients leave the shelter.
CHILDREN SERVICES We offer a variety of services for children that are beneficial for both Mother and Child. The Candle Wish Foundation has partnered with us to provide birthday party supplies and presents to each qualifying applicant. In shelter services will be provided structurally where crafting classes will allow eye to hand coordination, creativity, socialism and coping while having fun. Our unique playground allows for outdoor activities and exercise. Each child's case will be structured individually based on trauma. Our binkie's for babies program is a unique quality service we offer based on years of research of children clinging to their blankets. Each child entering the program ages 0-18 years will receive a special blanket that has been hand crafted by a volunteer team from Munds Park as part of their rehabilitation process, this allows comfort while feeling safe. Each child will be assessed as to their individual needs on a case by case basis this includes but not limited to mental wellness from abuse at which time counseling, workshops and a case plan will be designed by their assigned Advocate. Clothing, shoes and food will also be provided to each child entering the program.
ADULT SERVICES- Women A safety plan will be established immediately as part of the intake process for shelter stay along with creating as the program progresses an exiting safety plan this allows the client to start to build a foundation while going through our rehabilitation program. Each client will be evaluated by their assigned Advocate who will set up a case plan, services and structured rehabilitation process. Clothing, shoes and essentials will be issued at the intake process. Mandatory services will include parenting classes, Job prep, weekly support groups, counseling, Nutrition assistance if necessary and rehabilitation workshops. Optional services will include Jazzercise, Church services and transport, volunteer work, Horses Heroes & Hope a partnering foundation which provides psychotherapy using horses.

Infants - 0 to12 mos Include bottles, diapers, wipes, orajel, formula, bib, rattle, bottle water, Gerber Snack, Tylenol Children-
1 to 12 years Include Juice cup, bottle water, snacks, Juice box, Tylenol, Toy, toothpaste, tooth brush, hair brush.
Teens- Adults : Include Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Tylenol, hair brush, bottle water, snacks, tampons, pads
Angel Program- ( Seasonal) Each family has the option of being adopted during Christmas time. Christmas Dinner is included with this program for each family. Gifts are then delivered by Santa Claus a few days before Christmas.
Spring Program - Seasonal Easter Dinner, Eggs & Die are provided along with a full Easter basket for each child. One on one play Therapy It is very important after a victim has been impacted by trauma and abuse to maintain a bonded, healthy relationship between a Mother and Child. Play Therapy will allow quality time along with observation to write a further case plan if necessary while allowing the reassurance for both mother and child that they can feel safe together, find peace, happiness, security and therapy at the same time.
SELF DEFENSE Both women & children will be eligible to participate in martial arts also known as self defense. This will allow for rehabilitation of self esteem along with learning to protect themselves.
SELF RELIANCE SERVICES Once exiting the shelter each client will be given a list of resources, emergency numbers and a self reliance case plan. Eligibility for services after graduating the shelter program will be available for up to 1 year for both Women & Children. Protective Mother's Justice will provide weekly check ins, monthly meetings with clients including a monthly delivery of food , clothing and essentials if necessary. In return for services offered, each client will be expected to attend one work shop a month. Each workshop will be designed in keeping strong communication skills, life skills and support.
BREAD OF LIFE PROGRAM Every Thursday or every other Thursday we receive a generous donation of WildFlower Bread from the Munds Park Community Church that varies from bread bowls to loaves of bread. The bread is divided by the number of families and needs then delivered by Friday evening.
